In January 2009 Rob Agee was honored as "Restaurateur of the Year" by The Capitol City/Lake Ozark Chapter of The Missouri Restaurant Association In January 2009 Madison's received a Senate Proclamation for its significant contribution to the culinary arts, community leadership and involvement , and outstanding achievements during its 27 year history. In April of 2000 Rob Agee was honored as "Restaurateur of the Year" by The Capitol City/Lake Ozark Chapter of The Missouri Restaurant Association. In July of 1997 Madison's was recognized as the "Small Business of the Year" by the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce. In the June 8, 1988, from the St. Louis Post-Dispatch article, "Madison's Cafe is a Mixture of Cuisines", "A Capital Idea". In August of 1991 Madison's was given four stars by the Mid-Missouri Business Journal lunch review. In 1983 Senator John Scott presented Madison's a Missouri Senate resolution honoring the restaurants significant enhancement to the Jefferson City area.
